I’m a self- taught artist, well known for my unique style of watercolor realism and now I’m also painting with oil.

For February I’m displaying Nun Scents on the left.  It’s a seriously red watercolor – an old nun wine bottle on red satin fabric overflowing with roses from our own Central Market here in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  The few still lifes I paint are almost never traditional – I’d rather share a joke or a bit of quiet beauty that other people never think to look at.  I paint real life – it may or may not be pretty, but it’s always interesting.

An original painting is something to cherish and may be handed down for generations.  I’m making my original paintings affordable with one small work for sale on ebay each week at a bargain price.  Check out my blog and art page each Sunday night for this week’s sale painting.
