Little Girl And Hershey Garden

My first day of summer vacation and I’m working on an 11 x 14 canvas with my oils – got the canvas covered, anyway.

I can already tell a big difference between the different brands of oil paint – the Rembrandts are nice.

The garden is not staying in the background, much too busy, but I’m going to work on finishing this and maybe painting it again.

Day Two

Today I toned down the background and added some detail to the roses.  Gardens are harder to paint than I expected.
